Got back yesterday from another trip to Williston, North Dakota to visit our son and daughter-in-law.
Also got to spend a lot of time with our first grandson, who was born on February 8. (Our daughter-in-law pointed out he has a mathematical birthday: 2-8-16. Read that as 2 x 8 = 16.
He is an absolute delight. Quite a precious baby.
Funny thing about going to help out with your brand-new grandbaby – unlike all our other trips, we didn’t get to see much of the town or surrounding areas. For those following my discussion of energy in general and production of crude oil in particular, you will chuckle that I did not get out to see any oil wells and brought back zero new pictures of drilling rigs or producing wells. Grandparents reading this article will know I had higher priority things on my mind. You need not worry about my blogging, I still have hundreds of oil pictures that haven’t been used yet.
I did bring back lots of pictures of our expanding family, but won’t be posting those here.
Congratulations on your new grandson. My first was just born on Jan 20, so I understand your priorities.
Hi Karen:
Thanks. It was a wonderful blessing to spend some time with grandson, mommy, and daddy.
Congratulations to you as well! I know you are thrilled too.
